May 2010 Suzanne Strock Wins Third Place Award St. Augustine Art Association Show - "Impressions of St. Augustine"

January 2010 Suzanne Strock Wins "Best in Show" Suzanne Strock wins the Jean Wagner Troemel Award
St. Augustine, FL – Local St. Augustine artist, Suzanne Strock was presented with the Jean Wagner Troemel Award for Best in Show at the opening of the St. Augustine Art Association Exhibit “Reflections” on January 10, 2010. Two of her paintings were accepted into the show which is on display through January 31. Suzanne’s 20 x 16” oil on linen “Rainy Day in Florence” received the top honor of the 137 works of art on display. Regarding the winning painting, show judge Kurtis Loftus wrote, "This was an easy selection. I was immediately struck by its beautiful simplicity and wonderful sense of light, composition and expert technical approach. This piece completely captures the essence of the show."
